TeachingNo matter how much experience we have as language instructors, we frequently run into new tools and materials to try out in the classroom. There are countless books on second language pedagogy presenting the latest research findings and best practices to help us maximize the face-to-face time we have with our students. There are also websites that combine theory with practical examples and video materials. These are great resources (see for example) to hone in our skills in and out of the language classroom.

An outstanding example of the latter is the Foreign Language Teaching Methods at the University of Texas, Austin. It provides a wealth of materials and tips on how to teach a foreign language classroom together with multimedia recordings of various presentations. It is a must-read for language teachers everywhere.
