The Blume Center is working with the LACS department on the development of a Sharepoint e-Portfolio mechanism to better assess teaching and learning practices in the department. Majors and minors in the various language programs can track their intellectual and academic progress via representative samples of their work in the various language and culture courses they take during their four years at Trinity.

These documents are useful beyond the undergraduate career and can be used as evidence in English and in the foreign language to illustrate their intellectual ability and language skills. Students should insert into their portfolio, at least one revised or corrected paper/assignment/project from each of the courses (beyond 202) in the major. Most importantly, students should choose documents that will allow them to track their own progress.
