Hot Potatoes
The Hot Potatoes suite includes six applications that allow instructors to easily develop interactive exercises with multiple-choice, short-answer, jumbled-sentence, crossword, matching/ordering and gap-fill activities. PhotoStory 3
This free Windows XP application allows you or your students to easily develop digital narratives. There are numerous online tutorials to get you started. Here is a particularly useful one: The software is installed in the Blume Center computers and available online on the Microsoft website.

Skype is a free computer-mediated-communication system that allows you to contact any person around the world via text, voice, or video. The Blume Center computers have Skype installed to provide a convenient way for Trinity users to connect with friends and family. Additionally, Skype has launched an educational site at for instructors to set up exchanges with students from other countries.

Pixton is a flash-based online comic tool that gives you and your students the ability to create sophisticated comics online. If you would like to create class projects, contact the Blume Center to get accounts for all your students.
