The Blume Center works closely with Academic Computing to make the language placement exams available to students throughout the year. The placement exams are proctored and offered four times throughout the year:

The STA program is a collaborative initiative from Academic Computing and the Blume Center. It is designed to foster the integration of a variety of instructional technology tools and services into teaching. Faculty and students can obtain instructional support on a broad range of issues via this program.

 

Instructional Materials Database

The Blume Center's website serves as a repository of materials for use in the language classroom. Language instructors are encouraged to submit websites and other resources to be included into the sites database.

 

Streaming Video

If you would like to have streaming video materials available to your students, you can now use http://streaming.trincoll.edu This new service allows you to create a password-protected list of videoclips that can be easily accessed in and out of the classroom. Language Teaching Bootcamp

A two-hour session providing an overview of instructional technology resources available at Trinity College to aid teaching and learning. Oral History Project

An online repository of multimedia materials dealing with the evolution of the various ethnic communities in Hartford. More information available soon.
